Process Flow

There are three main important processes in manufacturing TFT-LCDs.

  1. Array process
  2. Assembly process
  3. Module process
    The final product is what we see.
  4. Array process
    1) A piece of glass with smooth surface and without any impurities is the main raw material for manufacturing TFT glass substrate. Before the production, you need to use a special cleaning solution, the glass washed clean, and then dehydrated, shaken dry.
    2) To make the glass substrate coated with metal film, we need to put the metal material in the vacuum chamber first, so that the special gas on top of the metal to produce plasma, the atoms on the metal will be hit to the glass, and then form a layer of metal film.
    3) After plating the metal film, we have to plating a layer of non-conductive layer and semi-conductive layer, in the vacuum chamber, the first glass plate heating, and then by the high-voltage electric sprayer spray special gas, so that the electrons and gas to produce plasma, after a chemical reaction, the glass is formed on the non-conductive layer and semiconductor layer.
    4) After the film is formed, we have to make the pattern of electric crystal on the glass. First, to enter the yellow light room sprayed with light-sensitive photoresist solution, and then set the photomask irradiation blue-violet light for exposure, and finally sent to the development area to spray the development solution, which can remove the photoresist after illumination, but also let the photoresist layer shaped Oh.
    5) After the photoresist is shaped, we can use etching for wet etching to reveal the film that is not used, or dry etching with the chemical reaction of the plasma, etching and then remove the photoresist left by slippery liquid, and finally produce the circuit pattern needed for the electric crystal.
    6) To form a usable thin film electrocrystal, it is necessary to repeat the process of cleaning, coating, photoresist, exposure, development, etching, and photoresist removal.
  5. Assembly process
    1) After the completion of the thin film electrocrystalline glass substrate, we have to carry out the combination of liquid crystal panel, liquid crystal panel is made of electrocrystalline glass substrate and color filter combination, first, we have to wash the glass before the next step. TFT-LCD manufacturing process must be in a clean room, so that there will be no impurities in the display.
    2) Color filters are chemically coated to form red, green and blue colors on the glass, and then covered with a layer of film that will conduct electricity after neat arrangement is completed.
    3) In the whole process of combination, first we have to apply a chemical film to the glass covered with electric crystals and colored filters, and then carry out the action of matching direction.
    4) Before combining the two glass panels, we have to evenly cover the gap similar to a sphere to fix the interval, so that the two glass panels will not be concave and curved inward after the combination of the LCD panel. Usually
    LCD panel in combination, will leave a gap or two to facilitate the subsequent infusion of liquid crystal, followed by the frame glue and conductive adhesive seal on the edge of the two pieces of glass, so the combination of glass is completed.
    5) After sealing the frame, the LCD panel will be put into the vacuum chamber, through the gap just reserved to draw the air out of the LCD panel, and then with the help of atmospheric pressure into the liquid crystal, and then the gap will be closed, and liquid crystal is a compound between solid and liquid, with the characteristics of regular molecular arrangement.
    6) Finally, two vertically oriented polarizers are attached, and the whole LCD panel is completed.

  6. Module process
    1) After the polarizer is attached, we start to carry DRIVE IC on both sides of the LCD panel. DRIVE IC is a very important driving part, which is used to control the LCD color and brightness switch.
    2) Then the DRIVE IC will be connected to the board by soldering. So that the signal can be issued smoothly, and then the image on the control panel.
    3)The light of the LCD panel is emitted from the backlight, before assembling the backlight, we will first check the combination of the finished LCD panel has no perfect, and then assemble the backlight, the backlight is the source of light after the LCD panel.
    4) Finally, then the CELL and iron frame to lock with screws.
    5)Then enter the final key testing process, the MODULE will be assembled to complete the aging test, in the state of power and high temperature, screening out poor quality products.
    6) The best quality products can be packaged for shipment.
    In this way, the LCD panel through many inspection and testing procedures, in order to give the most perfect products to customers, so that the entire LCD production process is truly completed.
